The Rescue Federation® to Host Nationwide Basic Life Support Webinar on Teacher’s Day

New Delhi — On September 5, 2025, The Rescue Federation® will organize an online Basic Life Support (BLS) Webinar, aimed at educating people from all backgrounds on how to handle sudden medical emergencies. The training will be held on Teacher’s Day, emphasizing the importance of education in health and safety for every household.

Many people witness medical emergencies in their lifetime—whether at home, in school, at the workplace, or in public spaces. But very few know what to do in those first critical minutes before help arrives. This webinar by The Rescue Federation® is designed to bridge that gap by teaching simple, practical steps that can make a real difference.

The webinar will take place from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM IST, and will be conducted entirely online, making it accessible to individuals across the country. It is open to students, teachers, parents, working professionals, and anyone who wants to be better prepared in emergencies.

Participants will learn:

● How to safely perform CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)

● How to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)

● What to do if someone collapses or stops breathing

● Key actions and precautions to take while waiting for medical help

The webinar will be led by Dr. Satender Tanwar, a practicing surgeon and certified BLS/ACLS instructor with more than a decade of experience. He has trained thousands of individuals, both from medical and non-medical backgrounds.

At the end of this webinar, participants who complete a short test will receive a digital certificate. This can be useful for students, professionals, and anyone wishing to strengthen their basic emergency knowledge.
