Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the Jogbani-Danapur Vande Bharat Express on September 15, 2025, via video conferencing from Purnea. The train will cover a distance of 453 km in approximately 8 hours and 10 minutes, with scheduled halts at key stations including Araria Court, Purnia Junction, Saharsa, and Muzaffarpur. The service will feature eight coaches and is the seventh Vande Bharat train under the Danapur division of East Central Railway.
