Renowned Artist Roop Chand Creates Magic on Canvas with Slogan ‘Kartavya Path par Kartavya Nibhayein, Bharat ko Viksit Rashtra Banayein’ as a Tribute to PM Modi on His 75th Birthday during World Record Event

New Delhi, September 19, 2025 –
World-renowned artist Roop Chand created magic on canvas and became part of a historic moment at Kartavya Path by unveiling a majestic live portrait of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on a 10-kilometre-long canvas, carrying the message “Kartavya Path par kartavya nibhayein, Bharat ko Viksit Rashtra banayein.” (Perform Duty on Kartavya Path – Make India a Developed Nation), This special tribute marked the 75th birthday celebrations of the Prime Minister and symbolized a powerful fusion of art, culture, and national pride.

This cultural milestone was part of a world-record-setting initiative organized by the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) in collaboration with Triveni Kala Sangam and Delhi University under the nationwide campaign “Viksit Bharat Ke Rang, Kala Ke Sang” during Sewa Parv. Over 35,000 artists and students joined hands to create the 10-km-long live canvas painting, making it a global benchmark for collaborative art.

Speaking about his creation, Roop Chand said:
“This portrait is not merely a painting – it is a heartfelt tribute to the Prime Minister’s vision of a Viksit Bharat. It captures 75 years of resilience, service, and inspiration, celebrating the dreams of a developed India.”
