Dr. Madhur Rathi, one of India’s leading voices in mental health and wellness, today announced the launch of Mind Matters, a nationwide campaign aimed at promoting mental health awareness and combating the stigma associated with mental illness.
Dr Madhur Rathi is also going to be part of award winning film director Vipin Agnihotri’s chat show Speak Up, where he is going to give an insight of his personal and professional life.
With over 7 years of experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist, a Psychotherapist and a mental health advocate, Dr. Rathi has worked extensively with youth, corporate professionals, and underserved communities. The new campaign will focus on improving access to mental health resources, facilitating public dialogue, and promoting emotional resilience among Indians of all ages.
“India is facing a silent mental health crisis,” said Dr. Madhur Rathi. “Through Mind Matters, we aim to bring mental health into everyday conversations, challenge outdated perceptions, and provide people with the tools they need to seek help without shame.”
The initiative will include online counseling sessions, awareness workshop in workplaces, institutions and corporations with regional influencers to address mental health in multiple Indian languages. The campaign is expected to reach over 1 million individuals across urban and rural India in its first year.
