SSC Introduces Major Reforms for Combined Graduate Level Exam Aspirants

In a significant move aimed at enhancing transparency and fairness, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced that candidates who appeared for the Tier 1 of the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) 2025 will be allowed to access their individual exam materials. Starting from October 15, all 13.5 lakh aspirants can view, download, and review their respective question papers, their responses, and the official correct answers. • Equi-Percentile Normalisation: This method ensures fairness across different shifts by evaluating candidates based on their percentile scores, mitigating any variations in difficulty levels.
• Aadhaar-Based Authentication: To prevent impersonation and multiple attempts, Aadhaar-based authentication has been implemented.
• Secure Transmission of Question Papers: Question papers are now transmitted through a secure digital vault, and specialised IT agencies have been engaged to prevent hacking or malpractice.

In response to previous technical disruptions, the SSC has taken proactive steps:

• Re-Examination for Affected Candidates: Based on feedback from over 18,000 candidates, the commission has cross-checked reported technical issues and allowed genuinely affected candidates to retake the exam.
• Monitoring and Accountability: The SSC has intensified monitoring of exam centres and taken action against those found violating rules.
