Vandana Jaggi: A Self-Made Visionary Redefining Food, Wellness, and Empowerment

Every success story has its own flavor, and in the case of Vandana Jaggi, it is a blend of resilience, creativity, and relentless determination. She is best known as the founder of Vish Foodies, but her identity is far greater than that of a culinary entrepreneur. Vandana is a wellness coach, yoga trainer, handloom promoter, model, social activist, influencer mom, and above all, a fighter who carved her path without support, relying only on her own willpower.

Her journey began in Gwalior, where in 2021 she started Vish Foodies as a cloud kitchen. The aim was simple yet ambitious: to serve chemical-free, authentic, and healthy food that carried the essence of tradition. Starting small, she built trust one order at a time. There were no investors, no backing—just hard work, sleepless nights, and an unshakable belief in her vision. From struggling with awareness and operations to handling everything on her own, Vandana faced every challenge head-on.

Over time, her brand began to shine. Vish Foodies has delivered over 1200 orders, and products like her tea masala and homemade pickles have become household favorites. A recent milestone—selling 200 kg of mango pickle in three months—proved her growing influence in the Indian food market. What sets her apart is not just the food but the purity, hygiene, and community-driven approach behind it.

But Vandana’s work extends far beyond the kitchen. She is deeply committed to promoting handloom and local artisans, blending culture with lifestyle. As a model and digital creator, she uses her presence to amplify regional talent and authentic Indian products. Her role as a wellness coach and yoga trainer reflects her holistic philosophy of living—where health, food, and mindfulness go hand in hand.

Recognition has followed her efforts. She has been honored by Amul, Bakers Ville, Galaxy Basmati Rice, and Kerala Tourism, winning international and national cookery awards. She also received the Government Women Empowerment Excellence Award from Madhya Pradesh’s Home Minister Narottam Mishra, along with the Naayika Award 2024 and the Rashtriya Nari Sasaktikaran Award. Beyond titles, she is the Vice Coordinator of Kitchen Stars of India, leading a network across 19 states, and the All India Coordinator of NGO “Let’s Give Back”, continuing the legacy of late Smt. Babeeta Saxena.

Yet, what makes her story powerful is the struggle behind it. Vandana openly acknowledges that her journey has been self-driven and solitary. No external hand guided her, no financial support pushed her forward. Every achievement—whether an award, a milestone, or recognition—was earned through persistence, patience, and sheer grit. She stands as a reminder that women can be entrepreneurs, mothers, creators, and changemakers all at once, without compromising their individuality.

Today, Vandana Jaggi is more than a businesswoman. She is a symbol of empowerment, resilience, and authenticity. Her venture, Vish Foodies, is not just about food—it is about tradition, wellness, and a vision for a healthier tomorrow. Her life embodies the spirit of a warrior mom, a woman who fights, creates, and inspires without waiting for support, carving her destiny step by step.

Her message to every aspiring dreamer is simple but powerful: patience, perseverance, and belief in yourself can move mountains—even when you walk the path alone.
